Finals fever

I'm done with assignments and presentations for this semester.

It's time to study for my finals! I seriously need to buck up for Skills & Strategies in the Helping Profession, which is a Psychology subject. It's do or die for me right now. Since it's an UIU subject, the passing grade is D (60%). If I could score a D for this subject, I'll be so damn happy. For real. Psychology is not easy, people. As for my other 3 subjects, they are still manageable...I guess. Damn it, I have A LOT of readings to do this week. *sigh*

Good luck!

This is it.

I never heard a single word about you,
Falling in love wasn't my plan,
I never thought that I will be your lover,
Come on dear, please understand.

Blue & white

My presentation didn't go that well today, no thanks to a certain someone. Bloody hell.

I have anger bottled up in me, so I need to divert my anger somewhere. Hence, a not-so-long list of my current pet peeves (not in any particular order).

#1 Spitting indiscriminately.
Whenever I go to college, I'll use a pedestrian bridge. I swear, I can spot at least six freshly-produced spits as I walk by. It's GROSS!!! Even if you need to cough out the phlegm so badly, can't you do it in a hygenic way? Like doing it in a toilet? Fine, if there's no toilet nearby, perhaps you could spit on a tissue paper and then dispose it at the bin or something?! I did the latter occasionally, but hey, at least it's less disgusting compared to spitting on the corridors/roads/walkways, isn't it?

#2 Punctuation usage (or the lack of it).
all these years of using text messages to communicate with my friends i have never encountered anyone who sends messages like these seriously are you really on a hurry to catch a flight to london that you cant even use a bloody fullstop never mind if the messages are short but yours were so damn long honestly this is the first time i have received such messages its so bad that i have to read your messages twice to understand what are you trying to convey damn it i know its called an sms aka short message service but it doesn't mean you have to leave out the punctuation as well it may be convenient to you but your message recipients are not having a blast reading your text messages fullstop

#3 Pair/group work.
Firstly, I don't have any problems working with other people. However, I do have a problem being in a group with people that I barely know. Correct me if I'm wrong, but usually it's easier to work with your own friends, don't you think so? I mean, you know them inside and out. From there, you can somehow delegate the tasks according to each other's strengths. Okay, sometimes it may not work out but I bet it's much better than teaming up with a complete stranger, right? I had a bad experience with someone lately (scroll all the way up and read the first sentence). I have informed my partner yesterday about which part she's supposed to present. Heck, she asked me again before it was our turn to present this morning. Guess what? She presented some of my parts! I ended up having lesser things to talk about, which is not a good thing. You are blacklisted, woman.

PS, OUCH!!!!!

21 candles.

When I read those words, my heart shattered into a million pieces. I cried a river. I lost a reason to live.

Two months, two weeks and four days later...

The wound is far from healed. It gets deeper as time passes by. Every now and then, I find myself sleeping on a wet pillow. The feelings I had still exist, they never left. People say we were victims of circumstances. To me, it's more than that. There's no need for finger-pointing now because everything has been said and done. Frankly speaking, I can't forgive myself for what happened. I guess his Abah's first impression towards me was right all along. As silly as it sounds, I'm still holding on to the wishful thinking. Judging from the recent developments, however, I don't know if I'll ever get the chance to make it come true in this lifetime.

It's tough when you are expected to act like an adult despite being heartbroken. It's tougher when you found out that the person you adore seems to be happier without you in their lives. The toughest part of all? Wondering whether you are doing the right thing by waiting for them; hoping that things will turn out in your favour. Even though you have nothing but love towards that person, what if they don't feel the same way anymore?

So much for a happy birthday.

It's not a passing infatuation, it's love.

FML...seriously.

Friday the 13th.

- My group was supposed to shoot our 5-minute movie assignment for Movies class. On that morning, Kartz said she could not make it. I sent a text-message to Wai Kian to ask whether the shooting is still on. He didn't reply. I ended up going to college anyway, only to find out that no one came!

- I discovered something in Facebook that broke my heart. Enough said.

Saturday the 14th.

- I wanted to deposit my payment for an online purchase. There are two Maybank outlets in Taipan. I went to the one nearest to my workplace, the one near Restoran Kayu Nasi Kandar. There were no cash deposit slips available. Fine. I wanted to settle my payment as soon as possible, so I went to the other outlet which was a 15-minute walk. Guess what? No cash deposit slips as well!!! I walked all the way for nothing. Argh! As soon as I got home, I complained to Mum about it. She said,

"You don't need a slip to deposit cash via the ATM machine..."

I have never felt so dumb.

- My "money tree" will be chopped down for good. No, I wasn't fired. Let's just say, the CEO of the company spends more money than earning them.

Can my life get any worse than this?

Have you ever?

Have you ever loved somebody so much it makes you cry?
Have you ever needed something so bad you can't sleep at night?
Have you ever tried to find the words but they don't come out right?
Have you ever, have you ever?

Have you ever been in love, been in love so bad
You'd do anything to make them understand?
Have you ever had someone steal your heart away?
You'd give anything to make them feel the same
Have you ever searched for words to get you in their heart?
But you don't know what to say and you don't know where to start

Have you ever found the one you've dreamed of all your life?
You'd do just about anything to look into their eyes
Have you finally found the one you've given your heart to?
Only to find that one won't give their heart to you
Have you ever closed your eyes and dreamed that they were there?
And all you can do is wait for that day when they will care.

Laugh Out Loud

It's been ages since I've watched Japanese game shows. I remembered watching Istana Takeshi on television when I was 13. Japan is not only the Land of the Rising Sun, but the Land of Wacky Game Shows as well.

My brother, Kevin found a Japanese game show video at YouTube. It's so hilarious, it's a sin not to share it with all of you. Some call it Silent Library, others called it Library of Silence. So yeah, the exact name is unknown. Basically, the game consists of six players. Every round, six cards are dealt. One card has a skull image on it, while the others have the word SAFE on them. Whoever picks the skull card in every round is subjected to the "punishment" shown on the board.

No doubt, the punishments are the funniest part. Besides that, the players are not supposed to laugh out loud while playing because the setting of the game is in a (fake) library. They were trying so hard to control themselves from bursting out in laughter. Watch the Old Man Bites Tenderly punishment. It's funny, yet disgusting at the same time. You'll get what I mean once you watch the video below. Enjoy!
